How to make a simple and free plant waterer

Yesterday I was filling up my plant waterer and realized that I have been using it for over 15 years. I made it when I was a kid and it has worked great! It is simple and free so I thought I would show how you can make it.

Start with a simple milk jug.

Poke a small hole through the lid, then get a cheap pen. Take the ink out so only the housing is left. Put that through the hole you made then use hot glue to secure it. Make sure when you have it dry that you set it to dry at an angle. This makes it much easier to use.

You don't have to do anything fancy. Just about any glue job will work as long as it is sealed well.

You should be able to use this for years to come! Even when the milk carton gets old, the lids have stayed the same throughout many years.

I made this when I was growing up and have used it for many years. It does not leak, holds a lot of water and comes out in a nice small stream. It is great for any size of house plant.

The pen allows you to get into tight spaces if you need to.
